2026 Labelmakers Group WA Alternative Varieties and Geographe Wine Show

2026 Wine Show Results

The 2026 Labelmakers Group of Companies WA Alternative Varieties & Geographe Wine Show celebrated another outstanding year, bringing together producers from across Western Australia for three days of judging and an Awards Night at The Old Lyric, Bunbury.

Willow Bridge Estate claimed Geographe Wine of the Show for its 2025 G1-10 Chardonnay, marking the second consecutive year the winery has taken home the top Geographe honour.

Sittella Wines was awarded WA Alternative Varieties Wine of the Show for its 2026 Avant Garde Albariño, while Fishbone Estate’s 2026 Black Label Vermentino was selected by Chief Judge Sue Bell as the Wine to Watch.

The evening also celebrated Pippa Nielsen as the 2026 Champion of the Region, recognising almost two decades of leadership, advocacy and contribution to the Geographe wine industry.

The 2026 show once again highlighted the strength of the Geographe wine region and the diversity and quality of alternative varieties being produced across Western Australia.
