The wine show committee have been carefully watching the progress of announcements in relation to events, as they plan for the 2020 show amidst COVID-19.  They are therefore excited to announce that the 2020 show will proceed, however with some significant changes that will keep the show fresh, while fitting into current restrictions.

This year the event will be split into two activities.  Judging will occur on the usual September dates, this year being the 16th and 17th.  The dream team led by Julian Langworthy (his third and final year) will judges during this time at BREC.  Results will be available post judging to all exhibitors.  The presentation function will take a new format, as an informal canapes’ and tasting event at a venue within the Geographe Wine Region.  This function will be at a date TBC, once we have more updates on gathering numbers.  It is anticipated it will be approximately 1 month later.

Another exciting addition is 2 more wines included into the WA Alternative Varieties.  These will be Chenin and Grenache.

Recent communication with our sponsors has been overwhelming positive, with Labelmakers Group committing to Naming Rights again.  We are thrilled to have Andrew and his team back on board.  All members are encouraged to support such sponsors to reciprocate the commitment.

Entries open on May 20th and exhibitors will be notified
